Hæ! My name is Unnur Eggertsdóttir, but you can call me Una. ​

I was born and raised in Iceland (with detours through Spain, Belgium, and California) and now split my time between Iceland and New York. 

​

I act, sing, and perform, while also building my platform @youcancallmeuna, where I share Icelandic language, culture and everyday life with an international audience.

​

Alongside that, I also work behind the scenes- managing creative concepts, writing, and helping shape campaigns and communication for brands.

​

​I’ve also always been drawn to politics and previously served as campaign manager for Prime Minister Katrín Jakobsdóttir, an experience that continues to influence how I think about storytelling and messaging. 

 

At the core of everything I do is the concept of connection, whether it's through performance, content or ideas. ​​
